Invocation is a gathering of prayers, poems & writings coming from different religions, cultures and beliefs.

Often we are separated and divided by beliefs, but there are common threads which tie us together. Whether we be Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, Agnostic, Atheist – there are words that cross cultures and cross centuries resonating with a deep question in many of us – why so much violence? Within every faith and culture we can find a cry for peace…

This Invocation is an attempt at a prayer for peace coming from many peoples, yet owned by none.  Perhaps an hour spent together in musical contemplation of words which invoke our higher nature might do some small bit of good.
